This Privacy Policy explains how the TrustMark mobile application handles information. The app is developed by BytePill.
TrustMark is under development. This policy describes the current version of the application and may be updated if its features or data practices change.
TrustMark is a text analysis and tagging application that provides two tools:
The text processing for these tools takes place locally on your device. TrustMark does not send the text you submit for scanning or marking to BytePill or to servers operated by BytePill.
TrustMark also uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may process certain device and app usage information for advertising-related purposes. This processing is separate from the local processing of the text you scan or mark.
TrustMark does not operate its own backend server to collect personal data or store the text you submit for scanning or marking. BytePill does not receive that text through the app's text processing features.

TrustMark uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Depending on the SDK version, configuration and applicable settings, Google AdMob may automatically collect or process information such as:
TrustMark does not require access to the camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files for its core text processing functions.
If you email support, the information in your message will be handled by your email provider and the provider hosting the support mailbox.
The text you type, paste, scan or mark is processed locally on your device within the application. TrustMark does not upload this text to servers operated by BytePill, and BytePill does not receive it through the app's text processing features.
Text Scan analyses the text you submit on your device. The text analysis takes place within the application. Scan results are displayed in the app and are not uploaded to or stored on a server operated by BytePill.
Mark Text processes your text on your device and embeds the tag you choose using invisible Unicode characters, while leaving the visible text as you typed it.
The text you mark and the resulting marked text are not uploaded to or stored on servers operated by BytePill through this feature.
If you choose to save a default watermark in the app settings, that value is stored locally on your device so it can be used to populate the tag field in a later session.
TrustMark accesses the clipboard only when you use a copy or paste command within the app:
TrustMark does not monitor or read the clipboard in the background as part of these functions.
TrustMark stores certain application settings locally on your device (preferred appearance, language, default watermark). TrustMark does not store scanned text or results on external servers.
TrustMark may read its own installed version number so that the About page can display it. Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers and diagnostic information in accordance with its policies.
TrustMark may open third-party apps and services (Email client for support, Google Play for ratings, Google AdMob for ads). For Google's data handling, see Google's Privacy Policy.
TrustMark uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may process device identifiers, IP addresses, and interaction metrics to deliver and measure advertisements and prevent fraud.
TrustMark does not currently use an independent analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting tool. Data processed by Google AdMob is subject to Google's policies.
Text is processed locally; settings are remembered locally; support emails are handled for assistance; and AdMob processes standard ad metrics.
BytePill does not sell or share the text you process. Standard ad telemetry is handled by Google AdMob.
Local preferences remain until app uninstall or clearing cache. Text is cleared after processing.
You can reset the default signature in settings, clear the app storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app to remove all local data.
Text processing is performed locally on your device. Data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
TrustMark is a general utility application and is not specifically designed for children.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under privacy laws regarding personal data access and deletion.
This policy may be updated as features change or requirements evolve.
